The Bernese Mountain Dogs had already lived in our family in the 1980’s, so I fell into the world of dog shows as a child. My first own Bernese Mountain Dog arrived in our home with my husband in the early 2000’s, with whom we began to visit dog shows very active, mainly in Hungary back then. We were lucky enough to experience the joy of raising puppies thanks to her, as well.
Since then, 45 litters have been born in the Kennel Tulipános Berni. Many of those dogs have been very successful in the show rings, gained over a hundred national champion titles, dozens of CIB:s, numerous Club Winners, BISS and BIS titles worldwide, furthermore an FCI Junior European Winner and 3-times BOB Breeder at FCI European Dog Shows. Thanks to these achievements the Hungarian Kennelclub awarded our kennel with the title of “Master of Breeding with Golden Wreath”.

In the last two decades, I have travelled a lot and participated at dog shows in almost every country in Europe. Based on my experience as a breeder and an exhibitor, I saw the time has come for sharing my experience with other dog lovers and helping them as a judge on this journey.
I became an FCI judge in the spring of 2023. In the last years, I was honoured to judge the Bernese Mountain Dogs at many club shows in Europe, and some lovely breeds of FCI group 2 at international dog shows.
The Leonberger breed stands close to my heart with its imposing exterior and similar temperament to my own breed. Therefore, I started to extend my judges license with this lovely breed at first possible occasion.
It is an honour for me that the presidency of SLBK voted their confidence in me, and I am happy to accept the invitation for judging at the club show in May 2027 in the traditional and beautiful location in Hässleholm.
Looking at my profession, I am an economist and did my PhD in accounting. This leaves its footprint also on my judging activity, as I am precisely looking for the Leonberger in each detail, which is described as ideal in the breed standard. A well-proportioned Leonberger having good substance and proper outline with breed-typical movement and temperament can catch my eyes, because I believe these features are essential for a Leonberger, which fits for its function.
Thank you very much, dear exhibitors, for your upcoming entry, it is a pleasure for me to meet and greet you in my ring!
I wish you all a pleasant day and a fair competition!
