SHOWS:
In breeding, only dogs that have received at least one quality award Very Good are used at an official show in open class.
HEALTH:
♦HD – When mating, the litter index must be at least 100. (In the case of foreign mating, the individual must be approved for breeding.) Dogs with HD grade D or E and ED grade 2 or 3 should not be used in breeding regardless of index.
♦ED– When mating, the litter index must be at least 100. (In the case of foreign mating, the individual must be approved for breeding.) Dogs with ED grade 2 or 3 should not be used in breeding regardless of index.
♦Eyes – In breeding, only use dogs that are eye examined before breeding debut. The eye examination is valid until the day the dog turns 5 years old, after which a new eye examination is required.
In breeding, dogs without serious, congenital and suspected hereditary eye diseases and cataracts such as posterior polar cataract (BPK), total cataract, glaucoma, macroblepharon, entropion and ectropion should be used. Other remarks that do not prevent breeding may only be made in combination with a dog that is without remark. If a dog has a remark (applies to all changes), eye examination must be carried out according to the recommendation of the eye protocol.
AGE RESTRICTIONS:
In breeding, only dogs that are two years old or older are used. This applies to both female and male.
OTHERS:
♦MENTALITY (BPH or MH)– In breeding, only dogs with known mental status are used. All elements must be completed.
♦OFFSPRINGS-In breeding, only males used that have left less than 64 offspring in Sweden.
♦COI-Individual combinations shall not exceed 5% in the degree of inbreeding of the offspring. Calculated on five generations pedigree.
♦COLOR-In breeding, only use FCI approved colour.
♦FOREIGN MATING-In the case of foreign mating, the individual must be approved for breeding in his or her home country.
